Schteriwka (Ukrainian Штерівка ; Russian Штеровка / Schterowka ) is an urban-type settlement in the south of the Ukrainian Luhansk Oblast with about 1200 inhabitants.

Administratively, the place belongs to the municipality of the city of Krasnyj Lutsch, 20 kilometers south, and forms its own settlement council, the oblast capital Luhansk is 37 kilometers northeast of the place, the Julina River (Юліна) flows through the place .

Schterivka was mentioned in writing for the first time in 1723, was later the center of the Volost Schterowka (Штеровская волость) and in 1938 was elevated to an urban-type settlement. Since the summer of 2014, the town has been occupied by separatists from the Lugansk People's Republic during the war in Ukraine .
