Juschna Lomuwatka (Ukrainian Южна Ломуватка ; Russian Южная Ломоватка / Juschnaja Lomowatka ) is an urban-type settlement in the west of the Ukrainian Luhansk Oblast with about 3400 inhabitants.
Administratively, the place belongs to the municipality of the city of Brjanka, which is 12 kilometers northeast, and forms a settlement council to which the urban-type settlements Hanniwka , Lomuwatka and Werhuliwka also belong, the oblast capital Luhansk is 58 kilometers east of the place, the river Lomuwatka rises near the place ( Ломуватка).
Yuzhna Lomuwatka was founded in 1953 as a workers' settlement for the colliery of the same name and elevated to an urban-type settlement in 1959.Since the summer of 2014, the place has been occupied by separatists from the Lugansk People's Republic during the war in Ukraine .
