Welykokamjanka (Ukrainian Великокам'янка ; Russian Великокаменка / Velikokamenka ) is an urban-type settlement in the south of the Ukrainian Luhansk Oblast with about 1100 inhabitants.
Administratively, the place belongs to the municipality of the town Rowenky, which is 8 kilometers southwest and belongs to the settlement council of Klenowyj (3 kilometers southeast), the oblast capital Luhansk is 47 kilometers north of the place, through the place the river Kamjanka (Кам'янка) flows .
Velykokamjanka was founded in 1861 under the name Pisnijiwka (Пізніївка), renamed to its current name in 1930 and raised to an urban-type settlement in 1969. Since the summer of 2014, the town has been occupied by separatists from the Lugansk People's Republic during the war in Ukraine .
