Bilohoriwka (Ukrainian Білогорівка ; Russian Белогоровка / Belogorowka ) is an urban-type settlement in eastern Ukraine with about 1000 inhabitants.
geography
The place in the Luhansk Oblast is located on the south bank of the Siversky Donets , about 34 kilometers north of the Raion capital Popasna and 86 kilometers northwest of the Oblast capital Luhansk .
Bilohoriwka forms administratively together with the villages Schypyliwka (Шипилівка), Solotariwka (Золотарівка) and Verkhnyokamjanka (Верхньокам'янка) a settlement council.
history
The place was mentioned in writing for the first time in 1720, and since 1958 it has had the status of an urban-type settlement.
