Pavlivka (Ukrainian Павлівка ; Russian Павловка / Pawlowka ) is an urban-type settlement in the south of the Ukrainian Luhansk Oblast with about 1000 inhabitants.
Administratively, the place belongs to the municipality of the city of Sverdlovsk, 9 kilometers southeast, and belongs to the settlement council of Volodarsk , the oblast capital Luhansk is 49 kilometers north of the place, through the place flows the river Velyka Medwescha (Велика Медвежа).
Pavlivka was founded in 1905 and upgraded to an urban-type settlement in 1938.Since the summer of 2014, the place has been occupied by separatists from the Lugansk People's Republic during the war in Ukraine .
