The Football Oceania Championship 2000 ( English : OFC Nations Cup ) was the fifth game of the oceanic continental championship in football and took place from June 19 to 28, 2000 in Tahiti. All games were played at the Stade Pater Te Hono Nui in Papeete. With Australia , the Cook Islands , New Zealand , Tahiti , the Solomon Islands and Vanuatu , only six teams took part in the tournament. The game was played in two groups of three teams. The two best in the group qualified for the semifinals.

Australia were Oceania champions for the third time, qualifying for the 2001 FIFA Confederations Cup in Japan and South Korea.
