The Generations - International Jazzfestival Frauenfeld ( proper spelling : generations - international jazzfestival Frauenfeld ) is a music festival that takes place every two years in autumn in Frauenfeld in the canton of Thurgau in Switzerland . The festival lasts one week and is best known for the international jazz ensemble workshop for young, talented jazz musicians with lecturers and the several bars that have been converted into jazz clubs. Dominik Deuber has directed the festival since 2017.
