Georg Eilert
Georg Eilert (born September 22, 1901 in Greifswald , † early June 1985 in Hamburg ) was a German actor , radio and voice actor .
Life
After graduating from high school, Eilert first studied medicine in Greifswald. During his studies he became a member of the Gotia Greifswald singing association (in the special houses association ). Later he began to study law, which he completed in 1925 with the work The economic situation of the Western Pomeranian theaters and their families with a doctorate . Already during his student days he began to be interested in the work of an actor and appeared on various stages in Regensburg , Halle and Berlin .
He also worked as a narrator for radio plays and dubbing and as a narrator for documentaries, B. 1937 for German victories in three continents via the racing driver Bernd Rosemeyer . After the end of World War II, Eilert moved to Hamburg, where he largely shifted his professional field to radio . Eilert worked as a radio commentator and spoke reports for NDR , WDR and Radio Bremen . As a radio play speaker you could experience him in countless productions, mostly in leading and larger supporting roles. So he spoke in the first Durbridge multi-part Paul Temple and the Gregory affair the part of Sir Graham Forbes of Scotland Yard .
Nevertheless, from 1949 he appeared regularly as an actor in film and television productions. He played alongside Hans Albers in Das Herz von St. Pauli , in Claus Hubalek's war drama Stalingrad , in Egon Monk's east-west drama Preis der Freiheit and directed by Dieter Wedel in Remembrance Day . He embodied Colonel General Ludwig Beck in Peter Schulze-Rohr's Der 21. Juli . In addition, he made guest appearances in television series and series such as The Despicable One , Hafenpolizei and Tatort . He became known to a wide audience through the role of "Lord Judge Archibald Parkinson" from the "Excentric Club", which he played between 1969 and 1972 for the series Percy Stuart . Eilert's last television appearance was in 1977 in an adaptation of Dostoyevsky's Demons .
