Grimme Prize 2021

The Grimme Prize 2021 was awarded on August 27, 2021. The nominations were announced on March 2, 2021, the winners published on May 11, 2021. A total of 69 productions and special services were nominated for the 57th Grimme Prize, selected from over 850 submissions and suggestions. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic , there were no face-to-face meetings of the Grimme Prize Commissions. The sightings took place over several digital meeting weeks. The main sponsor of the Grimme Prize 2021 was Daimler AG, the media partners were 3sat, WDR and ZDF.
