IC 1652 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 / a in the constellation Pisces on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 238 million light years from the Milky Way and about 75,000 light years in diameter. Together with 21 other galaxies, it is a member of the NGC 452 group ( LGG 18 ).

The galaxy NGC 421 is located in the same area of ​​the sky .

The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on October 17, 1903 .
