IC 1645 = IC 1642 is an elliptical galaxy with an active nucleus of the Hubble type E / S0 in the constellation Pisces on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 514 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 60,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky is the galaxy IC 1646 .
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on January 29, 1897 .
