IC 332 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 / a in the constellation Taurus on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 415 million light years from the Milky Way and about 110,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on December 29, 1893 .
