IC 326 is an elliptical galaxy of the Hubble type E / S0 in the constellation Eridanus in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 452 million light years from the Milky Way and about 175,000 light years in diameter .
The galaxies NGC 1354 , NGC 1357 , IC 327 , IC 328 are located in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on December 1, 1891 .
