IC 329 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sa in the constellation Taurus on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 318 million light years from the Milky Way and about 85,000 light years in diameter .
The galaxies IC 330 and IC 331 are located in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on December 4, 1891 .
