IC 4204 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBc in the constellation Hounds in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 150 million light years from the Milky Way and about 55,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies IC 4165 , IC 4168 , IC 4184 , IC 4193 .
The object was discovered by Max Wolf on March 21, 1903 .
