IC 4210 (also NGC 5004B ) is a bar-spiral galaxy with a high rate of star formation of the Hubble type SBab in the constellation Coma Berenices in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 286 million light years from the Milky Way and about 65,000 ly in diameter. The galaxy is considered a member of the Coma galaxy cluster Abell 1656 .
The galaxies NGC 5000 and NGC 5004 are located in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by Wilhelm Herschel on March 13, 1785 .
