IC 4207 is an elliptical galaxy with an active nucleus of the Hubble type E3 in the constellation Hounds in the northern sky . It is about 943 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 85,000 light years.
The galaxies NGC 5005 and IC 4182 are located in the same area of ​​the sky .

The object was discovered by Max Wolf on March 21, 1903 .
