IC 4213 is a spiral galaxy with extensive star formation regions of the Hubble type Sc in the constellation Hounds in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 38 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 25,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 5014 and NGC 5033 .
The object was discovered on June 15, 1903 by Stéphane Javelle .
