The 1964/65 season was the 20th regular season of the International Hockey League . During the regular season, the six teams played 70 games each. In the play-offs, the Fort Wayne Komets prevailed and won the second Turner Cup in their club history.
Team changes
The following changes were made before the start of the season:
- The Chatham Maroons stopped gaming.
- The Windsor Bulldogs stopped playing.
- The Dayton Gems were added to the league as an expansion team.
