content

In da Club is a typical party song. In the intro, 50 Cent explains that he will celebrate as if someone had a birthday, even if in the end it doesn't matter whether there really is a reason to celebrate. In the chorus he raps that he is in the club and has champagne and ecstasy with him. It is his goal to still have sex today. The first verse is about how 50 cents gets into the club with 20 armed people. He says that everyone would love him now because he and Dr. Dre and Eminem work together and he now wants to be as famous as 2Pac . At the beginning of the second verse, 50 Cent tells how he got wealth through his rap. One should congratulate him instead of envying him. He keeps rapping about the party and giving the cold shoulder to those who hate him.

production

The song was written by Dr. Dre in collaboration with Mike Elizondo , who acted as co-producer, produced. Dr. Dre originally created the music for Eminem's rap formation D12 , but passed it on to 50 Cent.
