Economy and Infrastructure

The building company is the Belovskaya GRES thermal power plant, located immediately northwest of the settlement, with an installed capacity of 1200  megawatts , which is operated by Kusbassenergo , which was privatized in 1993 . The coal mined in the area is used as fuel, and the Inja reservoir, which was built for this purpose and the power plant is located on the west bank, is used to supply cooling water.

The nearest train station is in Belove on the Novosibirsk  - Novokuznetsk route . From there a siding leads to the thermal power station. The regional road Kemerovo - Leninsk-Kuznetsky  - Novokuznetsk, which has been re-routed like a motorway on this section, bypasses the place immediately to the west.
