Irena Pavlovic (born September 28, 1988 in Belgrade , Yugoslavia ) is a former French tennis player .

Career

Pavlovic, the daughter of Mirjana and Dragan Pavlovic, a former Serbian basketball player, was born in Belgrade in 1988. When she was three years old, her family emigrated to France and settled in Paris . Pavlovic has been on the professional tour since 2004.

She won four singles and 14 doubles titles at the ITF Women's Circuit . In 2009 she received a wildcard for the WTA tournament in Strasbourg and the French Open , but she was eliminated in the first round both times. In Copenhagen she was able to advance to the quarterfinals of a WTA tournament in 2010, as well as in 2011 at the tournament in Paris . In 2012 she was at the French Open for the only time in the second round of a Grand Slam tournament .

In October 2014, Pavlovic played her last match on the women's tour. It has not been included in the rankings since the end of 2015.
