Jimmy Hertel (born January 1, 1992 in Memmingen ) is a German ice hockey goalkeeper who has been under contract with the Löwen Frankfurt since 2019 in the DEL2 .
Career
Jimmy Hertel began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of the ECDC Memmingen . From there he moved in 2007 to the junior team of the Rote Teufel Bad Nauheim , for which he played nine games in the youth Bundesliga before he spent the next three and a half years with the Eisbären Juniors Berlin in the German junior league . In the 2009/10 season , the goalkeeper also made his first appearance in the senior division for FASS Berlin from the fourth-class regional ice hockey league . At FASS he was in the next two years as a loan player regularly in the third-class ice hockey league between the posts.
