Judo

The Judo was the first martial sport that was included in the Olympic program. Tokyo 1964 it was part of the Games, but was not included in the subsequent Games in Mexico City . Judo has been an integral part of the Olympic program since Munich 1972 .

Competitions

There are 15 judo competitions at the Olympic Games - 7 men and 7 women and from Tokyo 2020 a mixed team. Women have started judo since Barcelona in 1992 . Four years earlier in Seoul, women started judo as a demonstration sport.
