At the XX. At the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich , six judo competitions were held. The venue was the judo and wrestling hall on the Theresienhöhe exhibition center . There were two more competitions on the program than at the premiere eight years ago (there were no judo competitions in 1968). The fighting time in the preliminary round was six, in the semifinals eight and in the final ten minutes. An Ippon was enough to win .
