action

The 40-year-old Andy Stitzer is a male " virgin ". He lives withdrawn, spends his free time playing video games, playing tuba, collecting action toy figures (some of which are still in their original packaging ) and painting miniature models . When his work colleagues learn that he is still a virgin, they look for a sexual partner for him.

A prostitute hired by his colleague Jay turns out to be a pre-operative trans woman . Further attempts to find a partner for Andy also end in disasters. Therefore, he makes an appointment to meet Trish Piedmont without the help of his colleagues. They almost have sex at the meeting, but Andy and Trish are disturbed by Trish's teenage daughter, Marla. They later agree that they won't have sex until the 20th meeting.

At this meeting there is an argument. When Trish drives to Andy to apologize and show understanding, she finds many objects in his apartment that Andy used to explore sexuality in the course of the plot. She thinks he's a serial killer and flees. While trying to stop her and confess everything, Andy has an accident and confesses to Trish that he is still a virgin.

Andy and Trish finally get married and have their first sex. In the final scene the actors dance to the song Aquarius / Let the Sunshine In from the musical Hair .

The lexicon of the international film wrote: "The mindless comedy leaves no stone unturned in order to serve the pubertal topic No. 1 to an adult audience, whereby the meaningless images and the bloodless characters at best suggest the lack of ideas of its makers."
