The Saka II cabinet was the 17th government of Turkey, which was led by Hasan Saka from June 10, 1948 to January 16, 1949 .

In the parliamentary elections on July 21, 1946 , other parties were allowed for the first time in addition to the Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi . The Democrat Parti, founded by the former Prime Minister Celâl Bayar and Adnan Menderes , took up the position. The CHP was nevertheless able to win the election with 85.2% of the vote. After Prime Minister Saraçoğlu withdrew for health reasons, Recep Peker became the country's new head of government. After Beijing's resignation in September 1947, Foreign Minister Saka became the new Prime Minister. Saka was soon heavily criticized for his way of dealing with the opposition party DP, which was perceived as too liberal, and resigned on June 10th. Even so, ten days later he was tasked with forming a government again.

In the months that followed, the CHP increasingly lost popular support. In order not to jeopardize the upcoming elections in 1950, Saka was then replaced by Şemsettin Günaltay .
