Erdoğan II cabinet
The term Erdoğan II cabinet is used to describe the 60th government of the Republic of Turkey under Recep Tayyip Erdoğan , which was in office from August 29, 2007 to July 5, 2011 . The previous cabinet Erdoğan I cabinet was also under the leadership of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. All cabinet ministers are members of the Justice and Recovery Party (AKP).

The underlined ministers have left the cabinet. All other ministers were given a different portfolio or were appointed ministers of state.
Changes
In the Erdoğan II cabinet, 11 ministers remained in their old posts, five ministers were each given a different post and eight ministers were new to the cabinet. The ministers Abdullatif Şener , Ali Coşkun , Osman Pepe , Atilla Koç , Abdülkadir Aksu and Abdullah Gül are not represented in this cabinet.
The number of state ministries rose from seven to nine. Three deputy prime ministers are subordinate to the prime minister as coordinators. The General Secretariat of the European Union has been subordinate to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since this cabinet. The General Directorate for Roads is no longer subordinate to the Minister of Construction and Settlement but to the Ministry of Transport. The General Directorate for State Water Affairs is no longer subordinate to the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, but to the Ministry of Environment and Forests.
Deputy Prime Minister Cemil Çiçek is President of the High Council on Counter-Terrorism. Çiçek brings the proposals of the National Security Council (MGK) to the Council of Ministers. He is also responsible for relations with the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus .
Deputy Prime Minister Hayati Yazıcı is responsible for coordination among the ministers. Since Ali Babacan has been appointed Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mehmet Şimşek Babacan's old post of Minister of State is taking over.
Since January 9, 2009, Egemen Bağış has been Minister of State and coordinator for Turkey's accession negotiations with the European Union .
As a result of the cabinet reshuffle on May 1, 2009, 8 ministers are no longer in office, 7 ministers changed their portfolio and 9 ministers were newly appointed.
