Karin Lundgren ( Karin Elisabeth Lundgren, née Wallgren; born May 19, 1944 in Gothenburg ) is a former Swedish sprinter .

At the European Athletics Championships in Budapest in 1966, she reached the semi-finals over 200 m and 400 m . In 1967 she won the European Indoor Games in Prague over 400 m and won silver over 50 m .

At the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City, she was eliminated over 400 m in the semifinals and over 200 m in the preliminary run.

The following year she was fifth in the 400 m and sixth in the 4-by-400-meter relay at the European Championships in Athens . She also qualified for the final in the 4 x 100 meter relay , but did not appear there with the Swedish team.

At the European Athletics Indoor Championships in 1970 in Vienna, she was fourth over 400 m. In 1971 she was sixth in the 4 x 400 meter relay and eighth in the 4 x 100 meter relay at the European Championships in Helsinki . Over 400 m she was eliminated in the semi-finals and over 200 m in the preliminary run.

At the 1972 Olympic Games, she reached the quarter-finals over 400 m . In the 4-by-100-meter relay and the 4-by-400-meter relay , she failed in the run-up.

She was Swedish champion over 100 m five times (1966, 1968–1971), six times over 200 m (1965, 1966, 1968–1970, 1972), six times over 400 m (1966, 1968–1972) and once in cross country (1967) . In 1967 she was Swedish indoor champion over 60 m , in 1967 and 1970 over 400 m.
