The Qatari men's national handball team represents the Qatar Handball Association , the Handball Federation of Qatar , in international tournaments in Men Handball .

The team has taken part in handball world championships five times . She achieved the best placement with 2nd place at the 2015 World Cup in her own country. For the handball world championship 2007 in Germany , the team qualified as third place in the Asian championships. After fourth and last place in group D and a winning placement game against Australia , they finished 23rd.

The team has been coached by Spaniard Valero Rivera since 2013 . Under his leadership, Qatar won the Asian Cup for the first time in 2014.
