The Kia Combi , originally marketed as Asia Motors Combi, was a minibus series that was built by Asia Motors and Kia Motors from 1983 to 2002 . At the start of the Asia Motors AM805 / 807 Combi 24-seater version, most of the models had the Mazda z. B. Six-cylinder diesel engine with 4052 cm³. This engine developed 100 hp (74 kW) at 3,600 revolutions per minute. Since Mazda was a cooperation partner of Asia / Kia at the time, the model was based on the Mazda Parkway or Mazda Titan . In 1990 the front was facelifted with new double headlights.

In 1996, after the end of the cooperation with Mazda, Kia signed a supply contract with Hyundai for the supply of engines. In addition to a redesigned dashboard, there were now the more modern, smaller four-cylinder Hyundai diesel engines with more power. The 3.3 L D4AL developed 120 PS (88 kW) and the 3.9 L D4DA 140 PS (103 kW). After the merger of Kia and Hyundai in 1999, the Asia sub-brand disappeared by the year 2000 and the model was now offered as a Kia Power-Combi, as was previously the case in export markets. Due to stricter emissions regulations in the domestic market for 2003, production of the Combi without a successor was stopped on October 28, 2002.
