The Kia Brisa ( Hangeul : 기아 브리사) is the name of the first car models from the Korean car manufacturer Kia (at that time still "Kia Industry Company"). It was produced in two model series as replicas of Mazda models. Production came to an end in 1981 after the new military dictator Chun Doo-hwan had enforced a consolidation of the industry, with the effect that from now on Kia was no longer allowed to build cars, but was only responsible for light commercial vehicles.
