La Garde-Guérin ( La Garda Guerin in Occitan ) is a southern French village in the Lozère department and in the Occitanie region with only a dozen inhabitants . Administratively, La Garde-Guérin belongs to the municipality of Prévenchères and is classified as one of the Most Beautiful Villages in France ( Les Plus Beaux Villages de France ).

La Garde-Guérin is about 852 meters above sea level. d. M. on a ridge between the rivers Chassezac and Altier in the southern Massif Central in the Cevennes region .
