Ladomirová (until 1927 in Slovak also "Ladomirovce"; in Hungarian Ladomérvágása - until 1902 Ladomér ) is a municipality in the Lower Beskids in north-eastern Slovakia .
It is located on the main road I / 73 between Svidník in the southwest (6 km) and the Duklapass in the northeast (14 km), which forms the border with Poland , on the bank of the Ladomirka brook.
It was first mentioned in 1414 (1364?). There is a Greek Catholic wooden church of St. Michael the Archangel from 1742 with a bell tower in the village . The building was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2008.
The place is the birthplace of Laurus Schkurla (1928-2008), head of the Russian Orthodox Church abroad .
