Lasse Lührs (born May 16, 1996 ) is a German triathlete . He is Junior European Triathlon Champion (2015), German Junior Triathlon Champion (2015) and German Champion on the triathlon sprint distance (2018).

Career

Lasse Lührs has been running triathlon since 2010. He is trained by Ron Schmidt .

In June 2014 he was the European Junior Champion in a team sprint with the German team (with Lena Meißner , Valentin Wernz and Laura Lindemann ) at the European Triathlon Championships in Kitzbühel, Austria . In July 2015 he became the junior triathlon champion in Geneva.

In the ITU World Championship Series 2017 (world rankings 2017) he finished 78th as the second best German behind Justus Nieschlag (37th place).

In 2018 he was accepted as one of eight athletes in the perspective squad (PK) of the German Triathlon Union (DTU).
