Ralf Eggert (triathlete)
Ralf Eggert (born December 25, 1971 in Hamburg ) is an entrepreneur and former German triathlete , multiple German champion and two-time World Cup third party (1994, 1995).
Career
In 1987 Ralf Eggert started his first triathlon in Barmstedt near Elmshorn. He has been a member of the German national triathlon team since 1990 and has been a four-time short-distance triathlon champion (1993, 1994, 1995 and 1999) and three-time German duathlon champion (1993, 2000 and 2001).
Triathlon Vice European Champion 1994
In 1994 he was vice-European triathlon champion and third at the world championships. He started for the Vitalia Triathlon Team.
In 1998 the then 27-year-old became student world champion in Kiel.
Ralf Eggert initially studied business administration up to an intermediate diploma at the University of Hamburg and graduated from the University of Kiel with a degree in business administration with a focus on sports economics .
In October 2004 he married the triathlete Nina Fischer in Hawaii and from January 2009 Ralf Eggert has been involved for some time with the German Triathlon Union (DTU) for young triathlons.
Since 2013 he has been working as a sales manager for a Swiss sporting goods distributor.

- In 2004 Eggert received the sports badge from the state of Schleswig-Holstein .
