final

European champion Jesús España

August 13, 2006, 4:40 pm

The finals took place without any finalist from 2002 . As in all running decisions for the men from 800 meters upwards, there was also a sprint decision in the last race before the season finale after a cautious initial pace. In contrast to the other races, one of the favored Spaniards won after co-favorite Alistair Ian Cragg from Ireland was injured.
