Lenin monuments on the territory of the former GDR
The following list of Lenin monuments on the territory of the former GDR contains the (so far) known monuments and memorial plaques in honor of Vladimir Ilyich Lenin and information about their whereabouts. It is divided according to the federal states in eastern Germany that have been in effect since 1991 and can be sorted according to location, date and sculptor. Only plaques that have a direct connection with Lenin's life are mentioned here. Busts, sculptures or reliefs in honor of Lenin that were placed in front of or in schools, factories, LPGs , etc., or that are exhibited in museum rooms, are not listed.
The abbreviations in the first column mean BL = federal state with BE = Berlin , BB = Brandenburg , MV = Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania , SN = Saxony , ST = Saxony-Anhalt and TH = Thuringia .
