This list of MPs to the Vienna State Parliament and members of the Vienna City Council (6th electoral term) lists all MPs to the Vienna State Parliament and City Council in the 6th electoral term. The electoral period lasted from October 9, 1949 to October 17, 1954. The inauguration of the deputies took place in the first session on December 5, 1949, with the first session of the state parliament and the municipal council taking place on the same day. After the parliamentary and local council elections in 1949 , 52 of the 100 seats were held by the Socialist Party of Austria (SPÖ), 35 by the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP), 7 by the Communist Party of Austria and Left Socialists (Left Bloc) (LB) and 6 by the electoral party Independent (WdU). The state parliament elected the state government Körner III on December 5, 1954 .

Functions

Landtag President

On December 5, 1949, SPÖ MP Bruno Marek took over the position of 1st President of the State Parliament . The ÖVP member Karl Mühlhauser was elected as the 2nd President of the State Parliament. The office of 3rd President of the Landtag was initially held by Franz Koci (SPÖ), who resigned on June 22, 1951. He was succeeded on July 13, 1951 by Konrad Lötsch .
