List of architectural monuments in Harlaching
On this page the monuments in the Munich district Harlaching in the district 18 Untergiesing-Harlaching are listed. There is also a picture collection and a photo album with selected pictures for these monuments . This list is part of the list of architectural monuments in Munich . The basis is the Bavarian Monument List , which was first created on the basis of the Bavarian Monument Protection Act of October 1, 1973 and has since been maintained and updated by the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation . The following information does not replace the legally binding information from the monument protection authority.
Ensembles
- Neuharlaching flat settlement . On the basis of a competition held in 1927, the non-profit housing welfare company in Munich planneda large housing estate similar to a garden city on the heights east of Harlaching in1928 under the artistic direction of Lechner , Norkauer , Eugen Dreisch and Wilhelm Scherer. The settlement area could be considered an ideal location: With the Perlacher Forest behind, it faces the city in a visual connection; A tram line has been set up to provide traffic connections to the city. When the world economic crisis brought building activity to a standstill in 1930, however, only less than half of the planned buildings were built; In particular, the community facilities that were intended to be necessary were missing - and are still missing. But even as a fragment, the large estate is a telling testimony to the special, artistic and social intentions of its creators. Obviously, different needs and levels of living space should be offered here in community: modest demands in compact, but enclosed around large courtyards or as long lines, shielding the lines from the tangential traffic; high demands in similar single-family houses in a preferred location above the slope; including multi-family houses in between. - Harlaching garden city . The Gartenstadt Harlaching ensemble comprises the historical core of the garden city colony of Harlaching based on plans by Gabriel von Seidl from 1909. It is located on the right bank of the Isar , east of the Hellabrunn zoo , and is one of the rare garden city areas in the suburbs of Munich that have been vividly preserved to this day the early 20th century. At the site of the former so-called Gut Harlaching, the baroque pilgrimage church of St. Anna , which was first mentioned in a document in 1186, and the historic inn “Harlachinger Einkehr” from 1858, hand over the originally older settlement stock. Harlaching was incorporated in 1854. At the foot of the steep slope in the southwest, the Marienklause , a private votive chapel from 1866, and the associated Stations of the Cross have been preserved. The Harlaching area was only sparsely populated until the early 20th century. The oldest finds come from the Iron Age . The first written mention of "Hadaleichingen" dates from around 1150. In the early modern times , when Harlaching was a Wittelsbach aristocratic seat, around a dozen subjects lived here. In 1700 the country estate was transferred to Freiherr Marx Christoph von Mayr, who had a small castle built by Enrico Zuccalli near St. Anna. The building burned down completely in 1796 and was not rebuilt. The garden city was built from 1911 onwards by the Munich Real Estate and Construction Company, which had acquired the majority of the area in 1907/08 from the building contractor Jakob Heilmann . Gabriel von Seidl provided the development plan in 1909. Narrow, irregular streets and paths are characteristic; they mediate between the main axes, which are star-shaped towards the former Harlaching estate. The plots are unevenly cut and occupied with detached villas (Hochleite 8, 16; Lindenstrasse 12, 15, 17, 23, 25; Über der Klause 2a, 4, 5, 6, 7; Ulmenstrasse 1, 3, 8-15, 19 ). The area is generously dimensioned, the garden city character is evident in the large proportion of green space. The development took place gradually until the 1930s. The reform style was formative. At the same time, the individual specifications of the client determine the design of the individual houses. The main idea behind the planning by Seidls was to include the wooded bank slopes of the Isar as a local recreation area. Heilmann had already ceded the area - and the associated responsibility for the urgently needed security - to the city of Munich in 1902. Construction work on the substructure began in the winter of 1910. The aim was to create a permanently accessible ascent without changing the natural shape of the site. For this reason, the mighty reinforced concrete structure was clad with Nagelfluh , so that the transitions between natural rock and artificial structure are blurred. In the second half of the 20th century, some of the historic villas were replaced by multi-family houses and plots were redensified. The disturbances particularly affect the northern sections of the Hochleite (nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 17, 19) and Lindenstrasse (nos. 2, 2a – d, 4, 4a – d, 4g, 10, 10a). (E-1-62-000-90)

Remarks
- ↑ This list may not correspond to the current status of the official list of monuments. The latter can be viewed on the Internet as a PDF using the link given under web links and is also mapped in the Bavarian Monument Atlas . Even these representations, although they are updated daily by the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation , do not always and everywhere reflect the current status. Therefore, the presence or absence of an object in this list or in the Bavarian Monument Atlas does not guarantee that it is currently a registered monument or not. The Bavarian List of Monuments is also an information directory. The monument property - and thus the legal protection - is defined in Art. 1 of the Bavarian Monument Protection Act (BayDSchG) and does not depend on the mapping in the monument atlas or the entry in the Bavarian monument list. Objects that are not listed in the Bavarian Monument List can also be monuments if they meet the criteria according to Art. 1 BayDSchG. Early involvement of the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation according to Art. 6 BayDSchG is therefore necessary in all projects.
