The following information does not replace the legally binding information from the monument protection authority.
Ensembles
- High school colony Pasing . The high school colony Pasing forms an ensemble with the buildings that were built in a short time and their stylistic standardization. With its stylistic reference to the two Pasing school buildings (teacher training institute and Progymnasium) in the reform style and the economically and creatively experimental row and semi-detached house in the style of reform architecture, the high school colony not only occupies a special position in Bernhard Borst's work , it is allowed to It is also considered to be an important contribution to Munich settlement construction in the pre- and interwar period. The elevation of the municipality of Pasing to a city in 1905 also resulted in the construction of the two large schools (Am Stadtpark 20, Am Stadtpark 21) in a series of structural measures. The two educational buildings were built from 1909/10 in the reform style according to plans by Josef Lang and Hermann Buchert between the town center and the area of the so-called forest colony on Avenariusplatz, which Louis began at the end of 1894. In order to create suitable living space for the teaching staff, August Exter , who had already closed his construction office in 1897 , initiated the construction of the high school colony in 1909 within walking distance of the school buildings south of Bodenseestrasse and west of historic Pasing. The architects Bernhard Borst, August Brüchle, Joseph Lang and Johann Müller were responsible for planning and implementing the settlement, which was just as far from the town center as it was to the two school buildings. Bernhard Borst in particular, who has been an independent architect since 1911, seems to have played a leading role, as the vast majority of the buildings from his construction office show. Similar to the grid layout of the larger villa colonies I and II, which were started in 1892 and 1899, the small high school colony also consists of two streets running parallel to each other, Paul-Hösch-Straße and Otilostraße, which are connected in an H-shape by the cross section of Neufeldstraße. The concept of compact new housing developments on manageable garden plots is primarily characterized by a reformist approach in which semi-detached houses and rows of terraced houses dominate. It thus sets itself apart from the Wilhelminian style architecture of villa colonies I and II from the Exter office and makes clear reference to the two associated school buildings designed by Josef Lang and Hermann Buchert. At the same time, it ties in with the row houses built by Borst in 1908 in Marschnerstrasse (villa colony I), which are characterized by the economy of the floor plans and individualized facade design, and thus leads the row house construction in Munich, which Heilmann & Littmann began in Nymphenburg-Gern in 1892, into housing development the prewar period. (E-1-62-000-86)
- Ensemble of the former town center Pasing . Thevillage of Pasing, mentioned in the 8th century andelevatedto Hofmark in the 14th century, hasa very complex urban structurebetween Planegger Straße and Würm and between Marienplatz and Gräfstraße, which is shaped by the rural and manorial past as well as by the late 19thcentury. Urbanization that began in the 19th century. Unlike in the purely village centers, the historically grown, architectural and urban diversity in its changing characteristics is characteristic here. (E-1-62-000-49)
- Neu-Pasing I villa colony . Thevilla colony Neu-Pasing I, founded in1892 by the architect August Exter and laid out according to plan, is an ensemble as the first example of organized single-family home construction outside of the then urban truce. Its delimitation results from the original layout of the quarter, as it was integrated between the railway systems in the south and the course of the Nymphenburg Canal in the west and north. In the east, the border is given by the areal expansion until about the temporal turning point caused by the First World War . The rural residential quarter in the suburbs near the big city, which is characterized by a large number of originally designed single-family houses in villa and country house style, is important in terms of settlement policy and the history of housing. The decisive factor for the creation of a large new residential area in Pasing is the establishment of the railway traffic over the market town at that time in two main and two secondary lines. When the villa colony was founded, there were already three railway lines running via Pasing: since 1840 the line from Munich towards Augsburg , since 1854 the railway towards Starnberg and since 1873 the line towards Kempten-Lindau . From 1903 the line to Herrsching should also beexpanded. Two years after the villa colony was founded, in 1894, local operations were set up on the Munich-Pasing route every 15 minutes. The fast, safe and comfortable transport connection between the city of Munich and its suburb Pasing favored the development of a specific building speculation that could count on a broad medium-sized group, where the dependence on the job in the city with the need for a life in the country as competing Interests could be addressed. The villa colony Pasing founded by August Exter in 1892 was intended to create a combination between living in a single-family home on a relatively large garden plot in fresh, clean air and the exceptionally favorable connection with Munich. (see also monuments in Obermenzing ) (E-1-62-000-51)
- Neu-Pasing II villa colony . The Neu-Pasing II villa colony bears the signature of the architect Otto Numberger . It is a characteristic example of medium-sized single-family house construction at the turn of the century, as it was able to develop in a suburb of Munich due to the railroad, a new means of transport at the time. In 1899, the as yet undeveloped property became the property of Terraingesellschaft Neu-Westend AG after Exter had finished his work as an architect. The majority shareholder was theFrankfurt banking house Lazard Speyer-Ellissen, managedby Georg Speyer . The development of the area was carried out by the terrestrial society. 90 houses had been built by 1900, but then construction progress stagnated. In 1929 106 houses were under construction for which several hundred initial inquiries had been received. The ensemble with numerous listed buildings includes the area that was actually realized as part of a much more extensive plan, the development between the railway systems in the south and Rubensstrasse in the north, and between Marschnerstrasse and Alte Allee . Remarks
- ↑ This list may not correspond to the current status of the official list of monuments. The latter can be viewed on the Internet as a PDF using the link given under web links and is also mapped in the Bavarian Monument Atlas . Even these representations, although they are updated daily by the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation , do not always and everywhere reflect the current status. Therefore, the presence or absence of an object in this list or in the Bavarian Monument Atlas does not guarantee that it is currently a registered monument or not. The Bavarian List of Monuments is also an information directory. The monument property - and thus the legal protection - is defined in Art. 1 of the Bavarian Monument Protection Act (BayDSchG) and does not depend on the mapping in the monument atlas or the entry in the Bavarian monument list. Objects that are not listed in the Bavarian Monument List can also be monuments if they meet the criteria according to Art. 1 BayDSchG. Early involvement of the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation according to Art. 6 BayDSchG is therefore necessary in all projects.
- ↑ According to research by the Jewish Life History Workshop in Pasing.
- ↑ On October 8, 1897, the Würmtalbote reported: “(...) Mr. Architect Exter will give up his construction business and will continue to limit himself to the sale of land. The previous site manager, Mr. Architect Numberger, will carry out the necessary structures. "
- ↑ Currently (January 2018) dismantled due to a construction site.
