1907–1921, planning 1904–1906 Settlement houses built based on the English model, which were built in connection with the construction of the Dreiwill paper mill, are of local, industrial and social historical importance.

Differentiation of the building blocks by function, storey height and facade structure, the position of the houses results in courtyards and small front gardens.
The topography follows the layout along rising streets (Zum Zschopautal, Lindenweg). Corresponding to the construction period from 1907 to 1921, the building structure and façade have typical structural elements. Characteristic are large plastered areas, asymmetrical projections and gables as well as a flat roof pitch. Characteristic is the diverse roof landscape through the reduction of the facade area. Some buildings tend to step back within the types mentioned, are designed more simply and show more restraint in design and execution (clinker base, large plastered areas, roof pike). The buildings along the Lindenweg are marked with many projections and recesses and risalits with tail gables.
There are also double tenement houses or smaller tenement houses with an asymmetrical structure, baroque plaster structure, some of which are very simply designed.

after 1918 large hall church with west tower, characterizing the townscape through its exposed location.

Church : interior and exterior design largely preserved, structure of the plastered building with elements made of Hilbersdorfer porphyry tuff, the Seifersbach village church is a baroque-classicist building from the years 1826–1828 by the important Saxon church builder Christian Friedrich Uhlig. The large, rectangular nave adjoins a considerable west tower with a hood, lantern and onion-shaped tower end. As with all Uhlig churches, the dimensions are considerable for the small village. Since the church stands above the village on a hill, it shapes the landscape for a long time. In this respect, the church building is a remarkable testimony to the art of church architecture in the 3rd decade of the 19th century.

Residential stable house, barn and stable barn of a four-sided courtyard Rossauer Strasse 7

Part of the older local development.

The following buildings are cultural monuments:
- residential stable house (gable facing the street)
- side building (eaves facing the street, on the street side)
- barn (at right angles to the residential building, on the field side)
These three buildings on a farm that is still closed are listed due to their historical (structural and social history) ) Worth.
Seifersbach is a Waldhufendorf founded in the course of the German colonization in the east, that to this day shows essential features of this village structure. These include the somewhat elevated farms on both sides of the village street and the cottages built parallel to the village street later. The development history of the village is documented not least by a large number of rural residential and farm buildings with a good historical building stock. As one of the four-sided farms that are still closed, the aforementioned farm gains importance in terms of local history. Furthermore, the mentioned residential and commercial buildings are listed due to their architectural and socio-historical value. The following description makes it clear that these buildings are still significantly influenced by the construction methods customary at the time of their construction.
The stable house was probably built around 1800 (estimated construction time). The two-storey building, erected on a longitudinally rectangular floor plan, is completed by a gable roof. Its ground floor consists of plastered quarry stone masonry and the upper floor of a partially clad half-timbered structure. Both the choice of building material and the structure of the building correspond to the typical landscape architecture around 1800. It is a traditional Saxon stable house with the usual three-part division into living, corridor and stable part. The house and stable door is - this also corresponds to the usual construction - on the courtyard side. The external appearance of the house has changed slightly over the years due to various building measures. Most of the original natural stone walls on the ground floor were removed and the masonry re-plastered. On the upper floor, some windows that were too large were broken into.
Furthermore, the roof covering was renewed. These construction measures are largely necessary maintenance measures that are required on every structure in the course of its service life. In this case, the changes made to the original condition are reversible and do not represent any significant impairment of the original building stock. The above also applies to the interior of the house. Here, too, the room structure (central corridor, stable, living area, chamber corridor on the upper floor) and, as far as possible, the structural elements (walls, ceilings, roof structure) were retained. Wearing parts were exchanged (ceiling of the stable - today Prussian cap vault - room doors and stairs) in the manner appropriate to the current taste. The side building on the street side is functionally a stable barn, which was probably built at the same time as the residential stable house. It is also characterized by a construction method typical of the landscape and the time, with the external appearance being in good original condition. So the door and window openings were preserved in their arrangement and proportions. The door portals, simple natural stone surrounds, as well as some historical sliding windows and a double-leaf front door (19th century) also contribute significantly to the historical appearance of the house.
The interior of the building has been changed due to expansion measures, with essential partition walls and the roof structure being preserved. The monument value of this building can only be derived from its external appearance. The barn opposite this building was probably built at the same time as the buildings described above. The construction time of the barn can be traced back to 1801. The single-storey, partly boarded-up half-timbered barn is closed by a gable roof. The appearance is characterized by the well-preserved half-timbered construction or the typical landscape paneling, wooden sliding doors and an old German slate covering.
The external appearance of the barn is unlikely to have changed much since it was built. An equally good original condition was also found inside. So the room structure and furnishings (two bansen, a threshing floor, plank covering of the threshing floor, collar beam roof with a reclining chair) were retained.
Thanks to their well-preserved existing buildings, all three buildings document the rural construction (construction, use of materials) as well as the way of working and living of the farmers (spatial structures of the buildings, legible functionality) around 1800. Their monument status is therefore also a result of their architectural and socio-historical value.
The public interest in preservation and thus the monument worthiness, which is a corrective to the monument status, results primarily from the experience and memory value of the buildings as important documents of rural construction and the way of working and living around 1800 as well as documents of local history (typical Waldhufendorf). The buildings achieve this value only through their good original condition as described above and the complexity of the building ensemble (fully preserved four-sided courtyard), which makes these buildings stand out from the large number of rural residential and farm buildings in the village.

Residential stable house in a four-sided courtyard Rossauer Strasse 23
(map)
around 1800 intact half-timbered building with local historical value.

The time around 1800 can be assumed as the construction time of the house. This is an estimate as exact information is not available. This traditional Saxon stable house was built on a rectangular floor plan. The ground floor was made of quarry stones and plastered, while the upper floor has a half-timbered construction that was subsequently clad on the gable and eaves sides. The building is closed by a hipped roof. What is remarkable is the balanced proportions of this building, which is in keeping with the traditions of Saxon farmhouses.
The original appearance of the house was slightly changed through minor construction measures (removal of the door portal, replacement of windows and front door as well as later roofing), whereby the original structure as well as the essential proportions and structural elements of the building were retained. It is therefore justified to speak of a good original condition of the building, this applies in particular to the interior.
The original room layout of the farmhouse with a central corridor, living and stable part on the ground floor and a chamber corridor on the upper floor was preserved, as well as a Prussian cap vault in the stable part, stone and wooden stairs, the stone slatted flooring on the ground floor and the roof truss, a collar beam roof with a reclining chair.
Thus, this stable house becomes a document of rural building in central Saxony around 1800, making it possible to draw conclusions about the use of building materials typical of the landscape as well as the construction principles of half-timbered construction typical of the landscape and the time, or the formation of the ground floors based on the landscape and time. This results in the historical value of the house.
This stable house is socially significant due to its intact spatial structure, which enables insights into the living conditions and work processes in the Saxon village at the beginning of the 19th century.
The stable house, part of a four-sided courtyard, stands on the gable facing Rossauer Strasse. Together with Schönborner Straße, Rossauer Straße forms the central village street of the Waldhufendorf Seifersbach, which was created in the course of the German colonization in the east. Along this village street (consisting of Rossauer and Schönborner Straße) there are numerous houses, parallel to this central axis, set back a little, are the large farms, mostly three and four-sided farms with their often historically shaped buildings.
The village image is still determined today by rural residential and farm buildings, which at least partially have been preserved in half-timbered construction, whereby the majority of today's buildings can be assigned to the 18th and 19th centuries. This results in a well-preserved village image, for which each individual building is of great importance. However, the comparison with numerous neighboring villages, but also the attentive walk through Seifersbach, shows how much these villages have changed, especially in the past 50 years, due to far-reaching economic changes. Many buildings are no longer in use today and are therefore in danger of being demolished. The building boom in recent years has not stopped in the rural areas of Saxony. Numerous new buildings are being built in the villages, leading to densification of the development. Furthermore, older residential and farm buildings are being demolished or often disfigured so that the historical townscape is gradually changed and also destroyed. In the course of this process, villages with a still preserved village structure and a large proportion of historical building stock have a great historical value as evidence of the housing and living conditions as well as the economic conditions and architecture in the country.
These explanations also make clear the importance of the individual building for the entire townscape, in this case the stable house at Rossauer Str. 23 for Seifersbach.
The urban development significance of the above-mentioned rural house consists primarily of its urban classification and its importance for the village image.
The building is also a monument; there is public interest in its preservation due to its scientific, documentary and memorable value. The building achieves this importance only through its good original condition, which it shows despite the reversible changes mentioned.
Significant parts of the building stock from around 1800 have remained unchanged and are thus (as explained above) a scientific document of regional architecture. The memorable value of this building consists primarily in its testimony to the living conditions of the rural population of Saxony in the late 18th and early 19th centuries.

Residential stable house and shed (connected to the new residential stable house) of a farm Schönborner Strasse 48
(map)
1st half of the 19th century, 2nd half of the 19th century Half-timbered buildings, part of the older local development, of architectural significance.

The historical value of the old stable house and barn results from their historical (social and architectural) value.
The old stable house was built in the 1st third of the 19th century (estimated construction time). It is a traditional Saxon stable house. The building, erected on a longitudinally rectangular floor plan, has a ground floor made of quarry stones and a half-timbered upper floor. The plastered ground floor was preserved without any major changes.
The door portal (natural stone, painted and triangular gable roofing) and the window frames (porphyry tufa, painted) form important design elements.
The half-timbered structure on the upper floor is regularly structured with corner struts. This well-proportioned, evenly structured building is completed by a cripple-hip roof typical of the time.
The interior of the building is still shaped today by the building stock of the early 19th century. These include the window soffits with basket arches, the presumably former kitchen vault with a cap vault, old room doors and the historic roof structure (collar beam roof with a single standing chair).
The description makes it clear that there were no significant changes to the building that would damage the overall appearance or the substance.
The barn attached to the new house also impresses with its excellent original condition. This barn was probably built at the same time as the previous building of the new house, it does not form a structural unit with it. The single-storey half-timbered building with half-timbered drums and saddle roof was probably preserved in its external form. The same goes for the inside of the barn. This small farm building is divided into a threshing floor and a bansen. The floor of the threshing floor is made of rammed earth. The fixtures (partitions, etc.) were largely preserved in their original form. The same applies to the gates and the roof structure.
Both buildings illustrate the rural building traditions of Saxony in the 19th century. They give evidence of the landscape and time-related use of the building material as well as of building structures typical of the landscape and the time. This gives the historical value of the old stable house and barn. Both buildings are socially and historically significant because they document the living and working of the rural population of Saxony in the 19th century due to the preserved spatial structures. The public interest in preservation and thus the worthiness of the monument result primarily from the good original condition of this rural building ensemble, from which primarily the memorable value of the buildings as evidence of rural life results as well as the architectural historical value, especially against the background of increasing losses of historical rural buildings and buildings . in-depth modernization measures on these.
Furthermore, the barn is also worthy of monument due to the rarity (singularity) of its construction and arrangement in the courtyard (as an extension to the new residential building), presumably due to the relatively small property area, which may not allow a different arrangement of a barn. A comparison with the buildings in the surrounding villages confirms this statement. As already mentioned above, this barn extension could also be part of the former side building converted into a new residential building. The observation shows that it was quite common in small farms and cottages to do without larger free-standing barns and to add barn extensions to side buildings and houses. This type of construction is directly related to the economic size of the property. There is simply no need for extensive recovery areas for the relatively small farm areas. Often one encounters such combinations of house and barn in the mountains, while this variant is less common in the flat country, which has already been referred to above.
