This is how the 'Hohe Stein' with the wonderful view, the 'Wettinplatz', the benches at the weir, the observation tower and much more was created in his time. ”The design and execution of the tower was in the hands of the Roßwein-based construction company Clemens Koch (master builder ). The tower, including its parapet, which is no longer in existence, was 27.15 m high, the platform is 26 m above the ground. A wooden spiral staircase with originally 142 steps leads to the viewing platform. The tower rises above a polygonal base. The fact that the courtyard is suitable as a monument is based on its historical significance and the impact it has on the townscape. The structure of the property has retained its own character to this day. In particular, due to the dominant location in the townscape, the (almost) closed farmstead has a special role in shaping the village image. Monument worthiness : Residential |
