List of restricted substances - Annex XVII of the REACH regulation

This list of restricted substances contains the dangerous substances listed in Annex XVII of the REACH Regulation , for which the manufacture, placing on the market or use are restricted or prohibited. As of August 12, 2020, the following substances / groups of substances were listed in Annex XVII.

  2. By Regulation (EC) no. 2037/2000 , the use was banned with few exceptions in the EU and in accordance with the Regulation (EC) no. 2037/2000 deleted from the Annex XVII.
  3. By Regulation (EC) no. 2037/2000 use in the EU was banned and in accordance with the Regulation (EC) no. 2037/2000 deleted from Annex XVII of the REACH Regulation.
  4. Through Regulation (EU) No. 519/2012 , SCCP were included in Annex I of Regulation (EC) No. 850/2004 , whereby production, placing on the market and use - apart from certain exceptions - are prohibited.
