The church was first mentioned in a document in 1339. The late Gothic church was baroque from 1727 to the beginning of the 19th century. The narrow building with a slightly drawn-in choir is joined to the south by the tower with a pointed gable helmet, to the north by the sacristy with a stone-framed, Gothic hatch . The west facade has a Gothic pointed arch portal and an open, baroque vestibule. The interior is structured with pilasters and vaulted with a needle cap barrel. The rich early coconut stucco was created in 1741 by Kassian Singer and Johann Mussak the Elder, the ceiling paintings are by Josef Anton Kirchebner from the years 1786/1787.
