The wayside shrines are part of the local pilgrimage site Maria Loreto in Thaur , founded by Archduke Ferdinand II at the end of the 16th century . A total of 15 wayside shrines made of brecciated stones line the historic route from Innsbruck to Thaur along today's main road . The statues stand on a base, they have a chamfered shaft and a square tabernacle housing in which there are panels painted on Eternit . The panels were redesigned in the 20th century by well-known Tyrolean artists with depictions of the secrets of the rosary .

The two-bay chapel with a drawn-in, straight end of the choir, a shingle-roofed gable roof and a square south tower was built at the end of the 17th century. Above the entrance there is a picture of the Madonna in a stucco cartouche. The inside has a stitch cap vault and a ceiling picture in stucco framing, which was created around 1800 and the Madonna with the hll. Shows Johannes Nepomuk and Florian as protectors of rum.

The church was first mentioned in a document in 1337. The late Gothic building, built around 1470 and attributed to the masters Friedrich and Hans von Thaur, was redesigned in Baroque style in the 18th century. It consists of a nave with a slightly drawn-in choir with a polygonal choir closure and a Gothic tower. On the north side is the sacristy adorned with a Christophorus fresco. The interior of the four-bay nave has a lancet barrel vault and Tuscan pilasters. On the walls there are Gothic frescoes or fragments from around 1474 with symbols of the evangelists, a Madonna and the fight of St. George with the kite. The baroque ceiling frescos were exposed in 1966 and renewed by Wolfram Köberl .

The cemetery chapel at the new cemetery with a gable roof and square south tower was built in 1955/56. The mural with the resurrection of Lazarus was created in 1956 by Peter Paul Morandell , the sgraffito on the back wall with trumpet-blowing angels over rum by Franz Hoelbling around 1970 .

The small chapel with a rectangular floor plan with a round choir closure and a steep pitched roof was built on the occasion of a plague epidemic in 1612–1613.

The original Gasthof Altwirt was adapted as a municipal office in 2005 and an annex was added. The three-storey brick building, erected around 1700, has a boarded gable under a gable roof and a painted corner bay window over two storeys. The facades are decorated with architectural painting with square chains and window frames, a painted sundial and depictions of Mary and St. John the Baptist and Catherine decorated.

The Church of the Resurrection in Neu-Rum was built in 1976–1978 according to plans by Horst Parson . The complex of church, parish hall, parish center, youth home and widum surrounds a forecourt. On its south side stands the towerless church in the form of a ziggurat standing on top . Inside, the lower altar is surrounded on three sides by tiered rows of seats. On the east side of the courtyard is the parish hall , which was built in 1959/60 according to plans by Josef Lackner .
