The baroque church was built around 1730 and redesigned from 1755 to 1759 according to plans by Franz de Paula Penz . The three-bay nave is followed by a narrow front bay in the west and a recessed choir with a rounded end in the east. The front yoke has a barrel vault on the inside, the nave is flat-roofed and decorated with stucco. The ceiling frescoes were created by Anton Zoller and Josef Anton Zoller in 1759 . The cemetery around the church was created at the same time as it. Inside there is a cemetery cross (around 1800) and the cemetery chapel with an attached war memorial chapel from 1975.

The Way of the Cross on the footpath to the pilgrimage chapel of St. Magdalena consists of 14 station shrines, part of which is located in the municipality of Trins ( also listed there ). Presumably the Baroque pictures of the Stations of the Cross from the parish church in Trins from the 18th century were used as picture panels. The picture boards were first attached to trees, and since the renovation in 2007 they have been integrated into wooden station shrines.
