Largest publicly traded companies (Forbes Global 2000)

The ranking of the Forbes Global 2000 list, published annually by Forbes Magazine , of the 2000 largest publicly traded companies in the world, is calculated from a combination of sales , net income , assets and market value . The placements of the companies in the equally weighted categories are added together to form a rank. This calculation method prefers debt- intensive sectors such as banks, which are therefore also in the top places in the case of Vietnam. The table also shows the headquarters , the number of employees and the industry . The figures are in billion US dollars and relate to the 2019 financial year , for the market value to the stock exchange price in May 2020.
