The Largest Companies List in Sweden includes the largest publicly traded companies in Sweden published by Forbes Magazine on the Forbes Global 2000 list . Often referred to as one of the largest companies in Sweden, IKEA (sales in 2011 EUR 24.7 billion) is headquartered in Leiden , the Netherlands .

The ranking of the annual list of the 2000 largest publicly traded companies in the world is calculated from a combination of sales , net profit , assets and market value . The placements of the companies in the equally weighted categories were added together to form a rank. The table also shows the headquarters , the number of employees and the industry . The figures are in billion US dollars and relate to fiscal year 2011, for the market value to the stock exchange price in April 2012.
