Lothar Schellhorn

Lothar Schellhorn (born February 6, 1929 - † May 11, 2006 in Berlin ) was a German actor , radio play and voice actor .

Life

Lothar Schellhorn studied at the Leipzig Theater Academy . Details regarding his stage career could not be determined.

Schellhorn stood in front of the television cameras from the early 1960s, often only in small roles. Repeatedly he worked in the crime series The Public Prosecutor Has the Word and Polizeiruf 110 , here too he played mostly supporting characters. Only in the police call episodes Between the Gleisen (1975) and the 1984 episode Heavy Years broadcast as a two-part episode , he was active in the role of the investigator.

Schellhorn's work in radio play production was much more extensive. Among the more than 200 works documented in the ARD radio play database, there are several appearances in the series Waldstrasse number 7 , Neumann, ringing the bell twice and the fact in which he was also involved in the very first episode.

Lothar Schellhorn was also active in dubbing for many years. Colleagues whom he voiced included Brian Keith , Ralph Meeker and James Westerfield . Schellhorn was also used repeatedly in the American western series Thousand Miles of Dust .
